For hikers who are in good physical shape and want to enjoy natural Land Trust trails for exercise. “GREEN means GO” hikers will move at a FAST pace. No small children, please. Thanksgiving Day Hike
Thursday, November 24
9:00 am (4 miles, Moderate to Difficult)
It is a Huntsville tradition – burning some calories with family and friends on Thanksgiving morning. We’ll walk down Alms House Trail to Historic Three Caves then ferry drivers back to the Bankhead hiker’s parking lot. Dogs on leads are welcome.
Directions: Take Pratt Avenue through Five Points to Bankhead Parkway on Monte Sano. Go up the mountain past Tollgate Road. Land Trust parking lot is ½ mile further on right.
