ValleyMLS.com and Servis1st Bank proudly presented the popular Moon Over Three Caves Dance on Saturday, September 21 from 7 to 11 p.m. Proceeds will benefit the land preservation work Land Trust of North Alabama. The Moon Dance is traditionally held at Three Caves, a former limestone quarry.
Shuttle buses brought guests to Three Caves from nearby Huntsville Hospital parking lots. Professional lighting turned the rock quarry into Alabama’s most romantic spot for this special night!
Carrabba’s Italian Grill, sponsored by Green Metals, Inc., provided dinner and popular local band “JUICE” entertained courtesy of Lockheed Martin. Guests helped preserve forests and wildlife habitat by bidding in a silent auction, sponsored by Yulista Aviation, Inc. Many thanks C&A Printing, WAHR Star 99.1, America’s Party Pros, and Turner Beverage Company for their support.
“Three Caves is a valuable piece of Huntsville history and an evening at this incredible feature of the Monte Sano Nature Preserve is a real treat,” said Moon Dance Chair Sally Warden. “Our upscale silent auction will feature artwork painted by local artists. In keeping with our moon theme, artists include a moon in their design. These much-anticipated works of art are presented for the fifth year by Toyota Motor Manufacturing Alabama.”
The 14th Annual Moon Dance sold out for the tenth year – this year by more than a week. Please mark your calendars for September 20, 2014 – the third Saturday in September. Ticket sales will be announced on social media, this website, email blast, and via printed invitations.
