The Land Trust welcomed Toni Bruner of Legacy, the Partners in Environmental Education folks (i.e. Get the Car Tag), and teachers from all ’round Alabama to Huntsville this week for the “North Alabama: The Environment through Technology” educator excursion.
This is the first time Legacy has scheduled a single excursion in North Alabama and the Land Trust is thrilled to be part these programs. Monday brought a tour of HudsonAlpha, a photography 101 by Dennis Keim, and a visit to Avion Solutions.
On Tuesday we enjoyed some photo time on the Land Trust’s Wildflower Trail – putting into practice some of Mr. Keim’s suggestions, then heard about herps from biologist Andrew Cantrell, and had writing workshop with author Heather Montgomery at the Botanical Garden.
