Naturalist Hike
Monte Sano Nature Preserve at the Cleermont Trailhead
(Moderate / 1.5 hours / About 2 miles) Join forest ecologist, Soos Weber, as we amble along the trails to learn more about the ecology of our Land Trust Nature Preserves. This will be a slow-paced hike where we will stop to learn about the forest around us here in North Alabama.
Fagan Creek is beautiful any time of the year, and March is no exception. The route for this hike will start at Cleermont Trailhead and head east on Wildflower Trail.
Location: Monte Sano Nature Preserve (Cleermont Trailhead) – 506 Cleermont Dr SE, Huntsville, AL 35801
Note: This preserve has several trailheads – be sure to come to the right one.
