Sunset at the Cecil Sun Circle

Join us to watch sunset from the Sun Bench at Marie’s Garden on Blevins Gap and learn about the cause for seasons and the cycles of the sun throughout the year. Discover the astronomical connection of Halloween, a “cross quarter day”, midway point of autumn.  We’ll also have a small telescope set up to view the rising nearly full moon.

This event features a 10-minute talk explaining the seasons as the sun is setting.

We will meet at the new Cecil Sun Circle located in the back of the pollinator garden. Cloud date is Sunday, November 2.
