Tree Huggers Book Club Meeting

April 25 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am

Join us for a nature-inspired book discussion as we kick off a new Land Trust Book Club! Our first selection is The Hidden Life of Trees by Peter Wohlleben, a fascinating exploration of how trees communicate, support one another, and function as interconnected communities. Blending scientific research with personal insight, this book offers a fresh perspective on the hidden world of forests.

The group will meet on April 25 from 10:00-11:30 a.m. at Chapman Mountain Nature Preserve. A few discussion questions will be provided to guide conversation, and all are welcome — whether you’ve finished the book or are just getting started. Feel free to bring snacks to share.

Following the discussion, a Land Trust staff member will lead an optional short walk into the woods to observe and appreciate some of our local trees up close.

Book Tip: You should be able to buy or order the book from Snail on the Wall (a local, independent book store) or get it from the library (book, eBook, or Kindle versions).  You are also encouraged to look for it at local thrift stores, Friends of the Library stores, or various online stores.
