November 4, 2021 @ 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm
How an Ancestral Practice Can Bring Us Closer to Our Land and Save It From Destruction with Jesse Akozbek
Foraging is the act of finding and harvesting wild plants and mushrooms for food or other uses. On paper, it may appear that this could only bring further harm to our natural spaces, which we continue to lose at an alarming rate. However, upon closer observation, we may find the opposite to be true. Perhaps, the answer to saving our land does not lie in future technologies, but instead, in a practice that has defined human life for thousands of generations.
