Dance with friends under the stars at Moon Dance to help save North Alabama’s freshwater resources and great natural lands! Moon Dance is a dinner featuring music from DJ ReggieRegg, a synchronized lighting experience by River City Lights, and a silent auction. The event is held in the beautiful bowl of Three Caves Quarry on Monte Sano Nature Preserve and is our biggest fundraiser of the year!

Dance with friends under the stars at our annual Moon Dance at Three Caves! Tickets go on sale July 31, 2026 for members and August 7, 2026 for non-members.

Food/Drink:

Dinner, including a vegetarian option, will be provided by Bubba’s Silver Spoon Catering. No outside food, drink, or chairs, please. Two drink tickets are included with your admission and additional wine and beer will be available for purchase. No cash payments accepted.
Music:

The talent for the evening will be DJ ReggieRegg, a local deejay and entertainer with over fifteen years of experience. A new addition this year is an immersive lighting experience provided by River City Lights and CKsimon, who has served as the Lighting Designer for the Pearl Necklace at Burning Man since 2015.
Parking:

There is no parking available at Three Caves. Parking is at Huntsville Hospital lots at Adams Street & Lowell Drive (500 Lowell Drive SE, Huntsville 35801). Free shuttle service begins at 6:30 PM and continues throughout the night. Gates open at 6:30 PM. If you use a rideshare service (Uber/Lyft) or taxi, the Mountain Springs Pool parking lot (located next to Three Caves at 905 Kennamer Dr SE, Huntsville 35801) is the designated drop off and pick up location.
Accessibility:

The surface at Three Caves is gravel. Attendees can be dropped off at the roadway entrance to the venue and request a ride down to the bottom of the hill where the event takes place. With advance notice, we can assign your party to a table that is easily accessible from the cart so you can be dropped off within a short distance of your seat. The cart will be available to assist you at any time during the event when you are ready to exit. If you have any questions about accessibility, please contact us at questions@landtrustnal.org.
Auction:

Shop the silent auction at 32auctions.com/moondance2026. All bidding will be online with most items on display at the event. Bidding begins on Saturday, September 12 at 8 AM and ends on Saturday, September 19 at 9:30 PM. No account is needed to view the auction but you will need to create an account in order to bid. You can quickly create your account in advance at 32auctions.com/users/new so you’re ready to bid. Auction winners will be notified and invoiced by email when the auction closes. You can pay your invoice online or by visiting the checkout station (cards or digital payments only) at the event. Attire:

Casual dress with closed-toe shoes (due to gravel) recommended. The temperature at Three Caves is typically a few degrees cooler due to cool air coming from the caves.
Cancellation:

Tickets are non-refundable. If the event must be canceled due to inclement weather or other circumstances beyond Land Trust control, please consider the cost of your ticket to be a tax-deductible donation to the Land Trust of North Alabama. All ticket buyers will be notified of cancellation by email to the address provided.

Land Trust Members at the Pathfinder ($100 annually) level or above receive a discounted ticket price. To redeem your discount, please enter the Access Code sent to you by email on 7/31/26. If you are a qualifying member and did not receive the Access Code, please call the Land Trust office at 256-534-5263 BEFORE purchasing tickets, and we will provide the code. Discount code does not apply to Corporate Tables.

Three Caves is located within the Land Trust’s Monte Sano Nature Preserve – one of the largest urban nature preserves in the US – and has become one of the most unique outdoor venues in North Alabama. Conveniently located just two miles from downtown Huntsville, Three Caves gets its name from the three limestone openings that accentuate the stage. The venue offers a comfortable ~55°F temperature year-round. As the sun sets and the lights begin to accentuate the walls, guests are in store for a truly magical experience.
