Spring Break Pop-up Hike: Bradford Creek Greenway

Monday, March 13 – Friday, March 17 is the week of Spring Break for most of our local school systems so we’re offering a series of Pop-Up Hikes. These easy to moderate hikes will be appropriate for mid-elementary-age hikers as well as older kids and adults and are led by Land Trust staff featuring a variety of nature preserves.
Note: Due to weather conditions, this hike has been changed to Thursday, March 16, at 2:00pm.
(Easy / Just over an hour / About 2 miles) Come join us for an afternoon walk on Bradford Creek Greenway. We’re going to start at the Mill Road Trailhead and head north on the greenway. We’ll walk about a mile before turning around and heading back to the parking area. As we walk, we’ll look at all there is to see as springtime is approaching. The greenway is an asphalt path, making it an easy walk that’s appropriate for strollers.

Location: Bradford Creek Greenway (Mill Road Trailhead) – 983 Mill Road, Madison, AL 35758 (Please note: The Bradford Creek Greenway has three different trailheads. We’re meeting at the one on Mill Road, approximately ½ mile east of County Line Road.
