This hike has been postponed to Sunday, May 19. The times are 12:30 – 2:30 p.m.
(Easy / Around 2 hours, but maybe longer / 2 miles or so) At Harvest Square Nature Preserve, find out about the special plants you might find foraging around ponds on a pleasant mid-spring walk. Forager Casey Lanier will lead you through the preserve on a route that will be determined the day of the event.
A FEW NOTES: This hike is educational, so if you’re looking for a walk with no long stops to talk, it’s probably not what you’re looking for. The hike is scheduled to last 2 hours, but it may run long. This hike around the preserve is not intended for collection or consumption of species.
Hike Leader: Casey Lanier
Meeting Location: Harvest Square Nature Preserve – 111 Allyson Sadie Blvd, Harvest, AL 35749
In the event this hike has to be canceled due to weather or trail conditions, we will send a notification to the email address you use to register.
