(Moderate / Around 2 hours, but maybe longer / 2 miles or so) For the last foraging hike of the spring, forager Casey Lanier will lead you through the Wade Mountain Nature Preserve on a route that will be determined the day of the event. Learn more about how foraging changes as the seasons do.
A FEW NOTES: This hike is educational, so if you’re looking for a walk with no long stops to talk, it’s probably not what you’re looking for. The hike is scheduled to last 2 hours, but it may run long. This hike around the preserve is not intended for collection or consumption of species.
Hike Leader: Casey Lanier
Location: Wade Mountain Nature Preserve (Pulaski Pike Trailhead) – 6946 Pulaski Pike NW, Huntsville, AL 35810
