Trail Care: Bethel Spring

Help build and install two sections of a chimney swift nesting tower at Bethel Spring Nature Preserve. This project is primarily carpentry work. Once the tower sections are built they will be lifted and placed together to create a 12 foot tall chimney-like structure, which will improve nesting habitat for a native bird species known as chimney swifts.
No experience required. Please wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes. Bug spray, sunscreen, work gloves, eye protection, and water recommended. Complete a separate registration for each individual participating (each person must sign a waiver). Guardians may sign up on behalf of minors.
