Trail of Tears

Historian John Stanton will share the story of the Trail of Tears, the federal government’s forced relocation of Native Americans between 1830 and 1850, as the sun sets at the Overlook at Blevins Gap Trailhead. Blevins Gap Nature Preserve is located along the trail’s path through North Alabama. This presentation will take place from 6-7 PM nightly from Wednesday, October 5 – Saturday, October 8. No registration is required.

Sunset will take place around 6:30 PM.
