Members-Only Mothing Night Hike

(2 hours / Easy / .75 miles) Did you know that moths far outnumber butterflies and are much more varied? Join us for an evening hike with entomologists Ken and Rufina Ward as we learn about these fascinating creatures. This night hike will take you out to our mothing station where we will collect, identify, and discuss the many species of moths that inhabit Chapman Mountain. We will return to the pavilion between collections where we’ll have complimentary beer, wine, and snacks for you to enjoy. Head lamps or flashlights recommended.
