Hike the Land Trust Challenge: Blevins Gap – South

(Difficult / 3 hours / 4.1 miles) Follow our series of guided hikes throughout the entire year as we cover all of the Land Trust’s public trails! We’ll start with the easiest routes and increase our difficulty and distance along the way. For this hike, we’ll start on Smokerise Trail for just a short distance before turning onto Lowery Trail.  From the end of the Lowery, we’ll take Sugar Tree Trail to Varnadoe Trail and head south.  After climbing the end of the Varnadoe, we’ll return to the parking lot via Bill and Marion Certain Trail and West Bluff Trail.  This hike involves a strenuous climb at the end of Varnadoe Trail.
