Member-only Hike at Hickory Cove Nature Preserve

(Moderate / Around 1.5 hours / Around 2 miles) Join us for a members-only hike on our newest property and tenth public nature preserve officially opening in June! Led by our Education Director, Tim Gels, this hike will explore Legacy Loop Trail, which wanders through much of the property. You’ll enjoy some spring wildflowers, new green leaves, and the company of other Land Trust members during one of our first official guided hike on this beautiful mountainside.

Location: Hickory Cove Nature Preserve – 1500 Trailhead Main St, Huntsville, AL 35811 (This is the parking for City of Huntsville’s Trailhead Greenway)
Directions: Coming from Huntsville, head east on Highway 72. At the intersection of Highway 72 and Moores Mill Road, turn right into the Trailhead community. Then turn right onto Trailhead Main Street. The greenway parking lot is located straight ahead at the end of the street.
