POSTPONED: Hike at Hickory Cove Nature Preserve

Due to trail conditions, this hike has been postponed. Please watch for it to be rescheduled in August or early September.
(Moderate / 1.5 hours / around 2 miles) Our newest preserve, Hickory Cove Nature Preserve, is the site of this hike. Hikers will walk Legacy Loop with leader Naomi Flanagan, who has walked the trail many times. Summer is in full swing for this late July hike, so come prepared for an earlier-than-usual start.

Location: Hickory Cove Nature Preserve (Trailhead Greenway Parking) – 1500 Trailhead Main St, Huntsville, AL 35811
Coming from Huntsville, head east on Highway 72. At the intersection of Highway 72 and Moores Mill Road, turn right into the Trailhead community. Then turn right onto Trailhead Main Street. The greenway parking lot is located straight ahead at the end of the street.
