Hike at Hickory Cove

(Moderate / about 2 hours / around 2 miles) At the end of the year, we begin to look toward the future, and the future for Land Trust of North Alabama will center a large part on Hickory Cove Nature Preserve, the site of our forthcoming Nature Discovery Center. Hikers will walk this preserve’s primary trail, Legacy Loop. Covering much of the preserve, this hike will show you some of the beauty this hillside has to offer, and will hopefully inspire your imagination with what we can accomplish here when our center has been completed.
Location: Hickory Cove Nature Preserve – 1500 Trailhead Main St, Huntsville, AL 35811
Directions Coming from Huntsville, head east on Highway 72. At the intersection of Highway 72 and Moores Mill Road, turn right into the Trailhead community. Then turn right onto Trailhead Main Street. The greenway parking lot is located straight ahead at the end of the street. We’ll meet at the Trailhead Greenway parking lot.
