CANCELED: Naturalist Hike at Monte Sano

(Easy / around 1 hour / around 1 mile) How much can you learn about nature in a North Alabama autumn when the leaves are fallen and animals are bedding down for the winter? A lot more than you’d think! Finish out the fall with a hike on the beautiful Cold Spring Trail with one of Land Trust’s founding members, Soos Weber. This family-friendly hike will begin at the Cold Spring Trailhead and follow the trail to its end with many stops along the way to discuss the natural beauties of Monte Sano.
Location: Monte Sano Nature Preserve (Cold Springs Trailhead) – Fearn Street Southeast, Huntsville, AL
