Conservation Celebration

Join us to celebrate our community’s significant conservation success! Land Trust of North Alabama has officially conserved over 10,000 acres in North Alabama and we want to celebrate with you. Your support makes it possible to preserve thousands of acres in North Alabama, to provide opportunities for outdoor recreation, and to offer all ages a chance to experience nature through environmental education programs. Together, we can continue to enhance an already vibrant quality of life for our region. Gather around the campfire and enjoy the sunset followed by a nighttime view of south Huntsville from the overlook at Blevins Gap Trailhead (adjacent to the parking lot). Land Trust staff and board members will be onsite to chat and answer questions. Bring your own seating. We’ll provide the campfire and good company.
Hippea Camper food truck will be there so you can grab a picnic dinner! Sunset will be at approximately 7:30 PM.
This event is FREE but donations are accepted and encouraged!
Location: Blevins Gap Nature Preserve – 3470 Cecil Ashburn Dr SE, Huntsville, AL 35802
This event will take place on the overlook area adjacent to the trailhead parking lot.
*This event is hosted by Land Trust of North Alabama. Fires are not permitted on Land Trust property without permission from the Land Trust.
