Cranes over Alabama
December 12 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm
Land Trust of North Alabama is pleased to host Olivia Burkholz of the International Crane Foundation for our final talk of the year, “Cranes over Alabama.” Please join us for an in-depth discussion of the history of Alabama’s cranes, especially the presence of the sandhill cranes and whooping cranes in our natural areas. Participants will also learn how they can become crane ambassadors. If you have never attended the Festival of the Cranes at Wheeler Wildlife Refuge, this talk will serve as an excellent introduction to that event coming up in January.
Location: Randolph Upper School Lecture Hall – 4915 Garth Rd SE, Huntsville, AL 35802
Please enter through the front door of the Nichols Academic Building. You will be directed to the lecture hall from this entrance.
