Pop-Up Hike: Jones Valley Loop at Blevins Gap Nature Preserve

(Moderate / less than 1 hour / .75 miles) This hike, the first in our series of pop-up hikes, is a short one that takes hikers along the Bailey Cove Branch of Aldridge Creek.  The hike pace will be slow, and this walk is appropriate for elementary-age hikers.  Be sure to wear appropriate shoes, though, as there is a hill involved.  Hikers will walk through a beautiful oak-hickory forest along a creek that, when dry, invites those who pass by to stop and take a closer look.
