Does your child have a flair for the dramatic? Do they also love scrambling over rocks and building forts in the woods? Land Trust of North Alabama is pleased to offer a three-part outdoor theatre workshop at Monte Sano Nature Preserve. Led by experienced educators Clark McClung and Meghan Kenny, this workshop will introduce students to the basic skills of theater and improvisation, including set design and costume-making. They’ll also get to spend time exploring the preserve and learning about the flora and fauna of north Alabama.
Ages: 8-13
Dates/Time: October 26, November 2, and November 9 from 9:00-11:30 AM
Location: Monte Sano Nature Preserve (Bankhead Trailhead) – 2442 Bankhead Pkwy NE, Huntsville, AL 35801
What to Bring: water bottle, snack, close-toed shoes, sunscreen, bug spray
Cost: $40 for Land Trust members, $50 for non-members
