Walls of Jericho Hike with Mike Dalen

Rated one of the best hiking trails in Alabama, Walls of Jericho is definitely a bucket list hike. Mike Dalen will lead you through the mountains, woods, springs, hosting caves, rocky bluffs, and riparian forests that make this Jackson County trail so famous. (6.5 hours / Difficult / 8 miles)
Directions: Meet behind the new Burger King in Gurley (5960 Hwy 72 E, Gurley, AL 35748)at 8:30 AM to caravan to the Walls of Jericho. Bring a sack lunch and lots of water.
These FREE hikes offer natural beauty and exercise for the entire family but donations to help preserve green space are accepted! You don’t need fancy equipment! However, we do recommend:
- long pants and comfortable shoes with good tread
- bottled water
- hiking sticks
- trail snacks
- and a camera to capture the experience
Dogs welcome, but must be on leads. In case of rain, hikes may be cancelled. Please verify cancellation here or on our Facebook Page or website.
