Jones Family Gives Greenspace: Bailey Cove donated to Land Trust of North Alabama
In keeping with the holiday spirit, Huntsville’s Jones family has donated a very special piece of the Jones Family Farm to the Land Trust: Bailey Cove.
Located north of Cecil Ashburn Drive, the 24.2 acre parcel includes the Cove which features waterfalls, karst formations, and a wealth of flora and fauna.
Executive Director Marie Bostick said, “We couldn’t have asked for a nicer way to kick off this season of giving! Not only does this property hold a wide variety of plants and animals, it also expands our popular Blevins Gap Nature Preserve – home of the Bill and Marion Certain Trail.”
We hope this gift energizes our community to partner with the Land Trust to preserve all that makes natural North Alabama so unique and beautiful!
