Women’s Outdoor Safety Hike (2 hours / Easy to Moderate / 2.2 miles)
Everyone benefits from being in nature, but sometimes fear of the unknown or need for community keeps women from exploring the outdoors. Join naturalist and wilderness skills guide Kate Gribbin to learn the basic safety information all women should know when hitting the trails. All levels of ability are welcome to share experiences, make new hiking buddies, and enjoy community with other women.
Location: Green Mountain Nature Preserve (Alum Hollow Trailhead) – 13800 South Shawdee Road, Huntsville, AL 35803
Event Details: RESERVATION IS REQUIRED. Our fall hike series is exclusive to Land Trust members only. Sign up at the link provided. Space is limited to ensure quality and safety. There is no waitlist. We intentionally overbook to account for cancellations but if spots become available we’ll reopen the registration link on this page. We have reduced capacity for all hikes to ensure a safe environment for all participants and face coverings are required when 6ft distancing is not possible.
