Wade Mountain Naturalist Hike (2 hours / Moderate with elevation change / 2.5 miles)
Head out on the trail with Madison County Schools STEM Coach Tim Gels on an exploratory hike of all things nature! Tim’s expert knowledge will open our eyes to the often-overlooked wildlife that thrives at the top of Wade Mountain.
Location: Wade Mountain Nature Preserve (Spragins Hollow Road Trailhead) – 10130 Spragins Hollow Road, Huntsville, AL 35810
Event Details: RESERVATION IS REQUIRED. Our fall hike series is exclusive to Land Trust members only. Sign up at the link provided. Space is limited to ensure quality and safety. There is no waitlist. We intentionally overbook to account for cancellations but if spots become available we’ll reopen the registration link on this page. We have reduced capacity for all hikes to ensure a safe environment for all participants and face coverings are required when 6ft distancing is not possible.
