Controversial Conservation: A Tale of Two Alabama Giants – the American Alligator and the Whooping Crane presented by Andrew Cantrell

During this presentation Andrew Cantrell, Wildlife Research Coordinator at Alabama A&M University and lifelong Huntsville resident, will share information on two of north Alabama’s more unusual residents: The American Alligator and the Whooping Crane. They have more in common than you think. He has spent many years in the field studying both of these species and invites you to hear a first hand account of what it is like working with these species and share their story. Why are they here, what is their status, how does their future look?
