Hike: Foraging at Bethel Spring

(Moderate/ 1.5 – 2 hours / Around 2 miles) Join us for our first foraging outing of the year with hike leader Casey Lanier. As with last year’s hikes, you’ll learn about the basic principles of foraging and explore Bethel Spring Nature Preserve to observe the seasonal edible plants found along the trails. This hike will be moderate in difficulty as we’ll be climbing up to the waterfall to do most of our exploring in that area. Children are welcome with a responsible guardian. Please note that this is an educational hike without an emphasis on collecting. The group size is intentionally small due to the interactive nature of this hike, meaning space is limited.
