Hike at Monte Sano’s Three Caves

(Moderate / Around 2.5 hours / 2.25 miles) This hike offers something a little bit different. The hike will begin with a visit to the Three Caves “bowl”, the open area just outside of the cave entrances. Normally closed to the public, the gates will be open for this hike. After looking around for a bit (we won’t actually go into the caves as falling rocks make that area unsafe), the group will begin a walk around Three Caves Loop then head north on Alms House Trail. A short walk on Young-Kennedy Trail and Wagon Trail will bring us back to the Alms House Trail returning towards the trailhead.
