Hike: Wade Mountain Nature Preserve

This hike has been cancelled due to weather. After things clear up, we hope to see you back out on the trails!
(Moderate / 2.5 hours / 4 miles) Wade Mountain Nature Preserve is one of those “well kept secrets” that many people don’t seem to know about. Come check out part of the east side of the preserve on this hike, starting at the Spragins Hollow Trailhead. You’ll head up Devil’s Racetrack Trail, turning west on Rockwall Trail. You’ll take Rockwall to Shovelton Trail, which takes you up to reconnect with Devil’s Racetrack Trail. After a lap around the racetrack, you’ll stay on Devil’s Racetrack Trail to head back to the trailhead. This preserve has two different trailheads – be sure to come to the correct one!
