Tuesdays on the Trail: Macroinvertebrates – Starting Life Underwater

June 6, 2023 @ 9:00 am - 11:00 am

Did you know that many insects start their lives in the water?  It’s true! While in their larval stage, many insects make their homes in streams, ponds, and lakes. During this Tuesday on the Trail, we’ll be learning about these critters, also known as macroinvertebrates.  Naturalist Lynne Weninegar will lead our exploration of Fagan Creek at the Cleermont Trailhead of the Monte Sano Nature Preserve.
