Trail Build: Blevins Gap North

Help with the construction new trail to extend Fanning Trail at Blevins Gap. This trail extension will create a loop hikers can enjoy after ascending the existing Fanning Trail and provide access to this little traversed section of the mountain.
No experience required. Please wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes. Bug spray, sunscreen, work gloves, eye protection, and water recommended. Complete a separate registration for each individual participating (each person must sign a waiver). Guardians may sign up on behalf of minors. Registration Required.

Location: Blevins Gap Nature Preserve (Walsingham Trailhead)
Directions: There is no address for this trail entrance. Coming from Carl T. Jones Drive on Cecil Ashburn Drive, turn left at Donegal Drive then turn left onto Walsingham Road. The trail entrance is located at the dead end of the street. Please park along left side of the road closest to the trail entrance. There is limited parking available at this location. Please be respectful of neighboring residents.
