Homeschool Teen Hike at Wade Mountain

(Moderate / About 2 hours / About 2 miles or so) Bring a snack and a sketchpad/nature journal (optional) and join us for a monthly Homeschool Teen Hike! Led by Land Trust hike leader Bri Cobert, this will be a casual walk. The group will stop during the hike to sketch, take pictures, or just appreciate the scenery – don’t expect a fast pace the whole way! This hike is for teens, ages 12 – 17. A parent or guardian must accompany each teen to the preserve, and we ask that younger siblings not attend. Parents and guardians don’t have to hike, and are welcome to stay at the pavilion.

Location: Wade Mountain Nature Preserve (Spragins Hollow Trailhead) – 10130 Spragins Hollow Road NW, Huntsville, AL 35810 (off of Winchester Road)
