Hike at Monte Sano

(Moderate / Around 1.5 hours / Around 2 miles) Monte Sano Nature Preserve doesn’t have many trails that are relatively level, but this hike will be along one of them! This hike will start at the Bankhead Trailhead and is simply an “out and back” on the Bluff Line Trail. This is one of the easier hikes on Monte Sano Mountain, and is suitable for most hikers. Take a break from the hustle and bustle of the holiday season and experience a beautiful late autumn afternoon in nature.
Location: Monte Sano Nature Preserve (Bankhead Trailhead) – 2442 Bankhead Pkwy NE, Huntsville, AL 35801
