Foraging Hike at Blevins Gap North

(Moderate / Around 2 hours / About 2 miles) It’s mid-November, the leaves have almost all fallen, and the forest appears to be shutting down for the winter. What is there to forage during the late fall months? Come out with forager Casey Lanier and find out! This hike is moderate in difficulty due to the hilly terrain, but expect a relatively slow walk with plenty of time for stopping and discussing what there is to be found

Location: Blevins Gap Nature Preserve (Fanning Trailhead) – 2275 Cecil Ashburn Dr SE, Huntsville, AL 35802
Directions: Fanning Trailhead is located in the back corner of the parking lot behind the Southeast Church of the Nazarene.
