Hero Hike at Hickory Cove

Hosted in partnership with Black Kids Adventures and Huntsville Revisited
Hike to celebrate and honor our Military for Veterans Day! Join us for captivating stories about local veterans as shared by Mr. William Hampton of Huntsville Revisited, before embarking on a scenic 1.75-mile hike led by Black Kids Adventures through Huntsville’s newest nature preserve. Kids are encouraged to wear a cape in honor of the heros in their lives.
Location: Hickory Cove Nature Preserve – 1500 Trailhead Main St, Huntsville, AL 35811
This event is free, but participants are encouraged to bring donation items for The Downtown Rescue Mission (see event page for list of needs). Hero Hike Swag bags for the first 10 hikers with a donation!
