CANCELED: Hike at Green Mountain South

(Moderate / Around 2 hours / 2.1 miles) This hike, along Green Mountain’s Alum Hollow Trail, will take hikers to Alum Falls and Alum Cave, two scenic spots on the preserve. The cave (really an overhang) served as a shelter for native residents and travelers over this area’s human history. The trail is relatively easy, with the exception of a steep hill leading down to the waterfall and cave at the half-way point. If there has been rain recently, try to spot the second waterfall from a vantage point near the cave!
