Hike at Hickory Cove

(Moderate / about 2 hours / around 2 miles) As we look ahead to warmer weather, come out to Hickory Cove Nature Preserve and see what signs of spring might be peeking out at north Alabama. Hikers will walk this preserve’s primary trail, the Legacy Loop. Covering much of the preserve, this hike will show you some of the beauty this hillside has to offer.
Location: Hickory Cove Nature Preserve – 1500 Trailhead Main St, Huntsville, AL 35811
Directions: Coming from Huntsville, head east on Highway 72. At the intersection of Highway 72 and Moores Mill Road, turn right into the Trailhead community. Then turn right onto Trailhead Main Street. The greenway parking lot is located straight ahead at the end of the street. We’ll meet at the Trailhead Greenway parking lot.
