Homeschool Teen Hike

This Homeschool Teen Hike will take place at Blevins Gap North at the Fanning Trailhead, located behind Southeast Church of the Nazarene. We will follow the Little Foot Loop and Jones Valley Loop trails, stopping to nature journal and take photos. There is plenty to see along these trails including a creek, interesting rocks and flora, mushrooms and lichen. Be sure to dress in layers for the weather, wear hiking shoes, and bring a snack and water. This hike is for teens, ages 12 – 17. A parent or guardian must accompany each teen to the preserve, and we ask that younger siblings not attend. Parents and guardians don’t have to hike, and are welcome to stay at the pavilion.
