Naturalist Hike at Monte Sano

(Easy / around 1 hour / around 1 mile) How much can you learn about nature in a North Alabama winter when the leaves are fallen and animals are bedded down? A lot more than you’d think! Finish out the year with a hike on the beautiful Cold Spring Trail with one of Land Trust’s founding members, Soos Weber. This family-friendly hike will begin at the Cold Spring Trailhead and follow the trail to its end with many stops along the way to discuss the natural beauties of Monte Sano.
