Rainbolt Trail Ribbon Cutting & Members-only Guided Hike

We’re officially opening Rainbolt Trail and celebrating all the work that went into its creation!
(Moderate / Around 1 hour / 1 mile) Join us to celebrate the official opening of Land Trust’s newest official trail in Madison – Rainbolt Trail at Rainbow Mountain Nature Preserve. After a short ribbon cutting celebration, take a hike along Rainbolt Trail led by the volunteers who created it. Beginning at the new Kensington Trailhead, follow this beautifully built trail up to the Rainbow Mountain Loop intersection and return back down the way you came. Our trail map is updated so you can review the map before you hike.
Location: Rainbow Mountain Nature Preserve (Kensington Trailhead) – Located at the end of Kensington Dr, Madison, AL 35758. Limited parking. Please carpool.
