Spring Guided Hike: Walls of Jericho with Mike Dalen

Rated one of the best hiking trails in Alabama, Walls of Jericho is definitely a bucket list hike. Mike Dalen will lead you through the mountains, woods, springs, hosting caves, rocky bluffs, and riparian forests that make this Jackson County trail so famous.
Directions: Meet at Hardee’s in Gurley, 5972 Hwy 72 East Hwy 72, at 8:30 am to caravan to the Walls of Jericho. Bring a sack lunch and lots of water.
2018 Spring Guided Hike Series:
These FREE hikes offer natural beauty and exercise for the entire family but donations to help preserve green space are accepted! You don’t need fancy equipment! However, we do recommend:
long pants and comfortable shoes with good tread
- bottled water
- hiking sticks
- trail snacks
- and a camera to capture the experience
Dogs welcome, but must be on leads. In case of rain, hikes may be cancelled. Please verify cancellation here or on our Facebook Page.
