Wildflower Hike at Cane Creek Canyon
April 13 @ 9:00 am - 1:00 pm

(~4.5 miles/3.5-4 hours/moderate) Join land steward Matt Hester on a hike and a hunt for wildflowers! Starting from the trailhead kiosk, this hike will largely follow the East Cane Creek Trail to the Blue Hole, along which you’ll be able to see an incredible array of wildflowers, some of which can only be found here! As you make your way back to the starting point, you’ll also take a detour to Tree Fern Cave, a stop well worth the effort.
This is a longer hike, so please bring plenty of water and snacks. There will be frequent stops along the trail to point out wildflowers, but this hike is not for beginners, so please plan accordingly!
Location: Cane Creek Canyon Nature Preserve–251 Loop Rd. Tuscumbia, AL 35674
In the event that this hike has to be canceled due to weather or trail conditions, an email will be sent to the address you use to register.
