Members-only Guided Hike: History of Rainbow Mountain

History of Rainbow Mountain (2 hours / Moderate to Difficult – due to rocky terrain / 3 miles)
The trails of Rainbow Mountain are adorned with many fascinating geological formations. Learn more about the history of this natural area and what led to the creation of these intricate formations with STEM Coach and naturalist Tim Gels.
Location: Rainbow Mountain Nature Preserve – 230 Stoneway Trail, Madison, AL 35758
Event Details: RESERVATION IS REQUIRED. Our fall hike series is exclusive to Land Trust members only. Sign up at the link provided. Space is limited to ensure quality and safety. There is no waitlist. We intentionally overbook to account for cancellations but if spots become available we’ll reopen the registration link on this page. We have reduced capacity for all hikes to ensure a safe environment for all participants and face coverings are required when 6ft distancing is not possible.
