Building a Backyard Birding Paradise

One of the central features of interest at our Chapman Mountain Nature Preserve has become the Bird Blind & Habitat, designed to attract a variety of birds with elements including a bubbling water feature. If you are interested in creating something similar in your own backyard, join us on Friday, October 11 as longtime Land Trust member Herb Lewis of Creative Birding will share the ins and outs of installing water features to attract birds to your yard. Enjoy coffee, donuts, and a morning presentation with plenty to offer beginning birders and seasoned enthusiasts.
