Hero Hike

Hero Hike organized by Black Kids Adventures, Inc in partnership with Thrive Alabama

Hero Hike will celebrate and honor Veterans through hiking and collecting donations requested by the Floyd E. Fan Veterans’ home. Through the presence and story of Veteran and Merrell athlete Will “Akuna” Robinson, we will bring more awareness to how hiking can benefit our physical and mental health. Hero Hike will also promote family time and ensure BIPOC people have an outdoor community to feel welcomed, safe and empowered in their outdoor adventures. Kids are encouraged to wear a cape in honor of the heros in their lives.
