Bradford Creek Greenway

A City of Madison and Land Trust Partnership

Bradford Creek Greenway is a partnership between the City of Madison and Land Trust of North Alabama. The greenway is managed and maintained by the City of Madison. Approximately 1 mile of the 2.24 trail utilizes Land Trust property. Remaining portions of the greenway are owned by the City of Madison. Located along Bradford Creek, this paved pedestrian and bike trail provides scenic views of the creek, hardwood forests along the banks, wetland areas supporting fish, wildlife, birds and a varied assortment of plants.

Primary access to the greenway is at the north end behind Heritage Elementary School at 11775 County Line Road. A greenway designated parking lot is located in front of the school. Additional greenway access points are off Mill Road and Palmer Road. Two residential access points are available in the Heritage Station subdivision off Brownsferry Road.
